Giggle incontinence advice for a desperate mum!
Hi I'm new here, I am wondering if there is anyone with any advice on giggle incontinence? My 10 year old son was diagnosed 5 years ago, he pretty much self potty trained at 2 and was dry day and night within 2 weeks. Then at 4 years old he started to lose control of his bladder when he would laugh.

Constipation or rather worse
Hi I’ve had really bad ibs over Xmas, probably stress related, and been trying just about everything. One thing I’ve tried which has caused me great problems (my own fault) is Psyllium capsules. I think they might have helped if I’d only followed the instructions to drink a lot but I’m not a great water

8-year-old Charlie raises £1000s for other people with a visible difference
When Charlie was 8 years old he was in a car crash which resulted in serious facial scarring. Since then, he's raised thousands of pounds for other people with a visible difference. This is his story. My name is Kimberley. I’m writing on behalf of my son Charlie, who’s 8 years old. On 30 September

Explosive d* - anxiety?
I almost went 3 whole weeks without my one Imodium per week (took one last on the 22 of December) and managed Christmas just fine, normal stools and quite a change in diet (no broccoli, sprouts, risky fruits and alot less chocolate and cake). Along with this I had no work, gigs or nerve inducing plans

With holding nightmare for 6 year old
Hi, my son is 6 and only poos every 2-3 weeks after a few doses of either movicol or ducolax, longest he has held it in for is 6 weeks. Drs just say it idiopathic constipation from being a baby which has developed into withholding. I'm having to send him to school in pull ups to catch any liquid poo.

Parental emotional impact of stool withholding. I'm so drained. Reaching out.
My daughter is nearly three has been on long term laxatives since the end of October for chronic stool withholding that began when we started toilet training her 8 months ago. I feel I'm getting all the right medical advice as we've seen a specialist continence paediatrician. What I'm reaching out about

Meal suggestions
Thanks for the suggestions on the constipation relief. We're are improving some with the help of Sennoside S and my concerted effort to get raw veggies and fruits into his diet. Now I need to ask for more advice. As the swallowing continues to deteriorate, meal have become more of a challenge.

Will I be ok
After 6 months of waiting to get a referral I got a GI doctor. I told him what's going on and he said "no procedures let's do medicine!" He said linzess which I tried once and passed out. I lost so much fluid I turned blue and my mother is an emergency room and was the one who gave it to me. I told him

PV diagnosis
Hello All, I was diagnosed with PV 3 weeks ago my hematocrit was 59. After 3 phlebotomies my number is 54. I was expecting more of a drop? Anyone know if this is good and normal and does it just take some time to reduce to normal? Any help would be appreciated. Nervous on what to expect. Thanks

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! one and all.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! everyone. Well the end of 2019 didn't go as planned or very well at all. There was my husband and I sitting enjoying a film and a glass of wine, when at 10pm immense pains started in my stomach. It was a rase then to get into my electric hoist onto my wheelchair. As whoa and behold

Astonishing improvement after almost 3 years
It will be 3 years in February that my boyfriend had his TBI. I've just read the post I put on here around that time and the replies I received. Just having a place to air my thoughts at the time and to communicate with other people that had already gone through similar experiences really helped me.

Deja Vu. CEBOC may not be working.
So after great results from chemo and again two months after, I've come crashing down again 😔. Ca125 has started rocketing again just as it did in February, three months after chemo. They've brought my CT scan forward to next week with a review the week after. To say I'm gutted, scared, weary and a

Hi Guys, I need your advice here. Male 53, good diet, non smoker, walk daily with dogs, on feet at work, been on Lansoprazole for 8 years struggling with full rectum high up. I go for BM every morning without fail and seem to do plenty then may do more an hour later but much softer. By early afternoon
