Are you anywhere near Belfast ? I know there's a pain specialist there as an endometriosis patient I know well has seen someone there but not sure of his name.

you will probably have adhesions too which will cause even more pain. They dont tell you about that part!

Perhaps have a look on the main Belfast hospital website to see if they have a list of pain consultants , if not you could call the hospital and ask to speak a secretary or nurse in the pain department. They may be able to tell you who you could ask to see.

Let us know how you get on and good luck.

You say that you get pain when you cough. I have had endo since the 1970's until hysterectomy 12 years ago. Put a pillow over your abdomen before you cough, it really helps. See your G.P. or contact a new one. There are tablets that stop the bleeding, your G.P will know - it is so long ago when I had them but it was something like declomatic acid - I have tried googline this with no success but it might be worth mentioning to your G.P. Make the most of your good days. I have had what you have and know how hard it can be. Try taking up a hobby such as knitting to take your mind off the pain when you are relaxing. Just because you have had the endo removed does not stop it coming back. I had it removed four times before I had a hysterectomy. When you feel so down with the pain it is difficult to perservere with seeing different people to try and get to the bottom of things. Write down exactly what your symptoms are and when they started and what medications etc you have had and keep it up to date to take with you when you see different consultants, it is so easy to forget or get fed up with repeating things. Good luck with the pain consultants in Belfast but also try to see a Gynocologist (still have trouble spelling this). Thinking of you.
