So despite being told zoladex works.....clearly it doesn't
I am so thankful for such a knowledgeable surgeon! I had been on zoladex for almost a year despite pain every day I fought so hard and in my personal case a hysterectomy was a good choice. I was riddled with endometriosis in uterus ovaries even in my muscle wall! I had 2 endometriomas removed and now

Anyone else with endometriosis & C-PTSD? How do you cope? Advice would be really appreciated.
Hello, After over 10 years of painful menstrual cycles with irregular periods, intense mood swings and extreme fatigue, I have been (unofficially?) diagnosed with endometriosis after having an ultrasound showing a 'large complex' ovarian cyst. My mum had a hysterectomy last year in which they discovered

Keep the cervix? Private care?
I am on the waiting list for total
abdominal
hysterectomy
(due to ten fibroids), and I'm awaiting confirmation on whether laparoscopic surgery is possible for me. Due to covid, the waiting list is very long and I'm contemplating private care, though it's such a hard hit financially.

Stage 4a cancer returned. An update and a question
Hi ladies, About 10 days ago I posted that a recent PET scan showed that cancer has recurred in 3 areas of my peritoneum and I was worried in case I wouldn’t be offered treatment as the recurrence was so son after chemo and avastin. I had many replies that were comforting and reassuring. Thank you for

Has any experienced loss of libido after hysterectomy?
Hi I wanted to reach out and ask for clarity on my loss of libido. I had a full hysterectomy around 3 years ago, removed ovaries and at the same time I was prescribed citalopram and Tibilone. However since then my libido dramatically changed to not being interested in sex. I had to stop the Tibilone

I’m extremely anxious and emotional and not thinking straight. I’m a single parent with my youngest doing

Deep Infiltrated Endometriosis in the Sacral ligaments Causing pain in the Hip/leg and lower back.
Can I ask if anyone has a surgery in the U.K. that’s assisted pain on the right hip/right side of leg running down the side of the leg and sometimes to the foot, tight lower back pain also when needing to move your bowels. After a lot of reading and feeling of my body I have come across a lot of nodules

Did anyone heal from botched hysterectomy/pelvic surgery fully?
Hi there. Does anyone know anybody who got damaged in a hysterectomy or other pelvic surgery that actually ever recovered fully or nearly fully? And what the causes were/what the remedies were?
