I had a hysterectomy about four years ago as was in so much pain both day and night . I was told after this operation I had endometriosis.
This is attached to scar tissue so not easy to improve as could do more damage than relief???

Can I request a hysterectomy?
I have deep infiltrating endo on my bowel as well as a 5cm endometrioma on my left ovary and a polyp on my womb. I went to see an endo specialist this week who was very helpful and understanding and is going to put me forward for a laparoscopy. She is however waiting to have meeting this coming week

Hello guys, hope everyone is okay. I've been suffering with endometriosis symptoms for the past 13 years, and finally I'm having it looked into. I've been told that they wanna switch me from the pill to the mirena coil as this will help symptoms, they don't want to do surgery as I don't have children

Zoladex and Mirena question? Need help.
Okay so I’ve been on zoladex for two years awaiting a hysterectomy but due to covid the waiting list is so long they have taken me off the zoladex as the gynae doesn’t want me on it any more. So I had a Mirena fitted a week ago with the hope it will keep my periods away. My next zoladex would have been

Bulky uterus - Adenomyosis?
Hi, I have a question you might be able to help me with. From the last ultrasound I had, the gynaecologist who did the scan wrote in the follow up letter that I have a "bulky uterus". I've looked that up online, and as far as I can understand it, I think that means I'm likely to have adenomyosis. I

Monitoring while on prostap and awaiting surgery?
It's coming up to 6 months of being on prostap and 3 months on Tibolone and my consultant wants me to continue on them. I am on the waiting list for a hysterectomy and my ovaries removed due to stage 4 endo, adenomyosis and an endometrioma, with bowel involvement (7 months on waiting list). I'm wondering

Does a hysterectomy work ?
Hi, has anyone else had a hysterectomy for a prolapse ? My GP has said I'm now having a rectocele as well as my prolapsed bladder. I have a ring pessary, which has worked up until now and use Vagifem as well. I'm 68. My question is does a hysterectomy work ?

Can Endometriosis still survive 20 years post hysterectomy if taking Oestrogen ?
I'm new to this group and apologise if this seems a silly question after all this time, but can my endometriosis come back and trouble me if I restart oestrogen? Some basic background re my concern. In 2001 I had an hysterectomy which included removal of my womb, ovaries and most of my cervix. I was

Are these symptoms typical 2 weeks post op?
I had my hysterectomy 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have had my uterus, cervix and fallopian tubes removed. I lost 1/2 litre of blood during surgery so I have been given ferrous sulfate to take for a month. Blood pressure is at the lower end of ok. But still, it's ok :) I have two questions... I am feeling dizzy

Adenomyosis and hysterectomy
I’ve just been diagnosed with adenomyosis and I’m in so much pain every day. It seems my uterus is swollen and is pushing on nerves. It’s ruining my life as I can barely drive let alone walk. I used to love hill walking but haven’t been able to do that for months now. I really want a hysterectomy but

Help please
Hi all, I'm having a hard time, not sure what's going off but long story short it's similar to all of yours, however I don't suffer with prolonged heavy bleeding, but the back, pelvic, pain an sciatica pain are horrific, sometimes sex is painful, I've had the injections to start the menopause however
