Hysterectomy without adenomyosis or fibroids?
Hi all, Is there anyone out there who has had (or is planning) a hysterectomy for endometriosis, without a confirmed diagnosis of adenomyosis, fibroids or heavy bleeding? What symptoms ultimately influenced your decision to have hysterectomy, and how are you going now?

Abdominal hysterectomy to treat adenomyosis & Endo - anyone have experience to share?
As I wasn't expecting the call from my consultant I wasn't prepared for her suggestion that the best next step would be
Abdominal
hysterectomy
to remove the uterus (leaving the ovaries) and back to prostap in the meantime. This has thrown me a bit.

Hysterectomy questions
Hi everyone, I’ve been told that (finally) I’ll be allowed to have a hysterectomy for adenomyosis. I was wondering if anyone could share their stories so I know what it’ll be like? I like to be prepared so I’m interested in both good and bad stories. Any tips would be greatly appreciated as well.

Anyone had hysterectomy at young age?
I’m 20 but considering one. Would love to hear other women’s experiences of having a hysterectomy, regardless of age x x

Anybody had multiple surgeries to remove endo, then total hysterectomy?
I'm trying to get some advice from any ladies who have had multiple laparoscopies to remove endometriosis and then ended up eventually having a total hysterectomy (uterus + ovaries removed). How did you decide when it was enough and then decide to have the hysterectomy? At what age did you decide on

Hi, I’m new on here but have suffered with endo for a long time. I’ve had 3 ops to date and my 4th is fast approaching. This time they are going to take away affected tissue and muscle inside my womb. There is a chance I could end up with a hysterectomy. I’m approaching 30 and have one child. I’ve spent

Surgical Menopause - Estradiol gel dose???
Hi all, Anyone who takes estradiol gel for menopause, please may I ask how many pumps you apply each day? I had a total hysterectomy a year ago (everything removed including tubes ovaries cervix) which of course meant I started surgical menopause straight away. After 6 weeks I was prescribed Estradiol

Can adenomyosis hurt all the time?
So I’ve been diagnosed with adenomyosis. I’ve always had bad periods but since November the pain is intense and it’s all the time. It got so bad that I couldn’t walk. Now I’m on nerve blockers it is slightly easier, but every evening I’m in so much pain, and when I turn in my sleep it wakes me up with

After effects of Prostap, the menopause or codeine withdrawal? 🤦🏼♀️
Hi everyone, I’m struggling to work out what’s going on with my symptoms as they seem to be possible for all of the above! I had a total hysterectomy (kept my ovaries) on 13th March, my last Prostap injection two weeks before that and I’m working my way off 240mg of codeine. I get the worst hot sweats

What treatments have you had for endometriosis?
I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year after a laparoscopy and ablation. I was advised after to take the mini pill as I get migraines and can't take the combined. My symptoms kept getting worse and it was decided by me and my GP to try the Mirena coil. I had it fitted 3 weeks ago and know I need
