Good news for once
The
Abatacept
appears to be working and he has reduced my Methotrexate from 20 mg to 15mg. So all I have to worry about now is the sciatica (caused by scoliosis), pain in knees from OA, and pain in left hip and lower back, also OA.

When to give up on a biologic (abatacept)
I have posted on here before about the length of time it took for
abatacept
(orencia) to work. Well I’m at five months now without the slightest change in my symptoms. I don’t know if I am wasting my time , or if waiting another month will make a difference.

Baricitinib
Hi Lovely People I am being offered Baricitinib (a new JAK inhibiter biologic) to replace the
Abatacept
I was on but had to give up due to the onset of vertigenous migraines. I understand it has only been available in the UK for the last couple of months. Anybody taking it yet? Any feedback?

beginning to feel a bit scared
I have been on NSAIDS, Sulphasaluzide, MTX, MTX and Embrel, MTX and
Abatacept
and nothing so far has worked. Have just given up on
Abatacept
as it was giving me horrendous upset tummys and lately severe vomiting. Sometime the cure is worse than the the disease !!!!!

CBD oil
I am on Methotrexate and
Abatacept
. I have had 2 ankles replaced and more recently a hip replacement. I am currently waiting to have a total knee replacement. Has anybody tried CBD oil? I am just interested to know whether it has helped and which variations you have tried.

In the UK it is known as Abatacept but in Canada it is known as Orencia.
I am hoping the Orencia/
Abatacept
will give me the pain relief I need so I can start to enjoy life again. If anyone has been on this medication I would appreciate your feedback either way. I know everyone reacts differently but I am interested to know if it helped others with RD.
