Has anyone had experience with having takenTocilizumab or Abatacept?
I have been asked to consider having the above medication after 3 biologic failures. Is anyone on the above meds or have any knowledge/experience of taking them? I have just come off Cimzia, not worked and too many side effects to mention! Many thanks Asa's mum xx

Wanted: People in the West London area currently on Abatacept (Orencia).
NRAS has been asked to help find a suitable Orencia patient that can be interviewed for a video to be used at a BMS internal conference. BMS would be looking for the patient to provide some answers around: - the background to their medical condition - how current treatment has been effective (compared

Is anybody out there trying abacept and fairly ancient in body (50+) but young in mind. I am having a rough time on it i.e. heartburn, aching joints and depression. Would love to hear of any other guinea pigs.

Has anyone had good results with Abatacept?
I know
Abatacept
takes a while to work, but I'm thinking that I dont want another infusion on the 21st.

Anyone out there with Psoriatic Arthritis?
This may also explain why the Enbrel was not particularly successful but
Abatacept
can be better in these cases - who knows, wait and see eh? Caroline

ME, RA and now Osteoporosis too- oh yippee.
He told me he didn’t feel optimistic that I would be allowed
Abatacept
. So I need to write another appeal. Pleading and begging for drugs that will keep me, mobile and gainfully employed is so utterly humiliating.

Abatacept refused due to cost?
As I have tried almost everything else and nothing has halted this horrible disease I was prescribed
Abatacept
by my specialist only to have my local trust refuse to give it to me on the grounds of cost. I have written a letter of appeal but what else can I do?
