Another day - another dollar (actually it's a fiver but who wants to be persnickety at this time in the morning) - in the retirement glass jar.
Day 16 (well I think it is) - had my last cigarette on Sunday, 10th March, 2013, at 8.50 pm - and now the days seem to be mounting up quite quickly and once we're in April, I will be able to say I stopped smoking last month and won't that be good!
The Trials and Tribulations of a Quitter - does that sound like a good title for a book? Someone suggested that I do a book on my quit attempt (cheeky - it's not an attempt it's a "given" that I will do it!) - are they trying to tell me something, i.e. that I talk/write too much? I think I bore enough people on here what with my blogs and I have actually put a question up today without going into print and boring hundreds of people. Having said that, there wouldn't be hundreds as no one would probably buy it - would have to do it as a vanity print which would cost me and come out of my retirement fund so, no, won't go that route, will stick to boring you lot - safer (captive audience) and cheaper!
Today will not be a patch on yesterday because you all made my birthday really memorable and so I must thank you for that. Today will still be a good day though as it's one day nearer a long weekend and although they are predicting more snow for Good Friday, I'm not too bothered as I'm not at work - YIPPEE and I have 5 days off - Friday to Tuesday inclusive - DOUBLE YIPPEE!!
Hope everyone has a good, positive and happy day - remember TOGETHER we can do this - strength in numbers!
Just a short one this morning 'cos it took me longer than I expected to do my question so you can all breathe easy and stand down.
Take care - positive vibes being sent to each and every one of you.
