Hope all goes well Jillygirl. I may have already missed you, but if you haven't been yet, why not ask if they have a smokerlyser and can test you carbon monoxide levels for you? This will be a big motivator to show how well you are doing with regards to stopiing smoking. as you will have a reading of a non-smoker
hi emjay. been to the docs and all went really well. i had a breathing test, it was called a spyrograph or something like that.(i thought that was a kids drawing toy ) the nurse said the results were very good. but i will know on the 11th when i go see the actual doctor. i will ask him if the test i had tests for carbon monoxide.
I'm not 100% but I think it might be a spirometry test that you ladies are talking about?
Glad to hear that your results were very good.
The carbon monoxide test is something different and won't be something that you will have been tested for.
In fact, what I shall do is pop up a blog about it and how you go about having a test... it's really easy and takes less than a minute. This can be done at most surgeries, your local stop smoking service can do it and sometimes your local pharmacy may offer this.
Hi Gillygirl, i'm glad it went allright at the docs, just to let you know i've done it at last and its on your blog for poems, dont know whether you will like it or not though, would have posted it last night but bad day yesterday, good today though. I hope your still with it gal and good luck for the 11th.
