The running could not be better now I’ve been smoke free and into day 5. This was the view on last nights run. The cravings are now minimal, snacking a bit more that usual but the taking ages to fall asleep is irritating. Have swapped out to decaf tea and coffee after lunch time and just planning on riding it out. Articles seem to all say this should settle in three to four weeks 😬😬😬Thankful that the running improvements are sustaining the feel good factor. Hope everyone else is going ok with stoptober. Can highly recommend the nhs couch to5k the running high is better than any cigarette 👍😀🏃🏽♀️❤️

Sleepless nights
Hi Tayrm, beautiful pic👍🏼
Unfortunately the sleepless nights are a common side effect, but this will pass and in the meantime you’re doing all the right things. I used lavender oil on my pillow and chamomile tea.
It’s brilliant you’re getting the runners high, keep doing what you’re doing coz you’re doing great🚭✅
Lots to be proud of, well done😀xx
Just love the pic Tayrm and your enthusiasm makes me want to take up running again😊😊
This is for your morning runs ......
Well done Tayrm,I'm so glad that you're enjoying a "high" from running. You'll be amazingly fit before you know it.
Thanks for sharing that beautiful pic.👍🌷xx
So glad you are feeling the benefits of running, I think it has helped massively with my stop smoking success.
I feel your pain with struggling to get to sleep as I am the same but strangely I feel much more alive too!
Keep up the great work
Hi ya Tiggs, am loving your quit progress, just loving it
Now then, sleeping I think most of us have trouble sleeping in the first few weeks of quitting the smokes
Our bodies and minds are not used to being without nicotine and allllllllllll the chemicals that are in cigarettes so they are adjusting to our NEW life style
Please have a look at the breathing posts on Pinned Posts, cos I think ermmm 3 - '' how to slow a busy mind down '' with a bit of practice it works, well it did for me
hello Tayrm such a pretty picture
Your doing so well so far .I can echo all of the feeling of Briarwood.Keep Positive & say each day YES I CAN (QUIT)
