I can breathe again!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the holidays!

I was at a Christmas party and nearly half the people there were smoking... It didn't bother me, except for the way it smelled!! I mean it really really reeked BAD! I can't believe I used to walk around smelling like that, not to mention the horrible things smoking was doing to my health and the health of those around me.

I didn't say a word to any of my friends, I just walked outside quietly and unnoticed and enjoyed the fresh air.

That being said, I'm still smoke free and so thankful I had the strength to actually do it this time. The side effects from withdrawal are all gone and I think I may have gained a few pounds, but I'm not sure. Because that part doesn't matter. And I refuse to get on a scale because my clothes still fit me the same.

I hope all of you are enjoying your smoke free new life, and please don't give into temptation if it should arise! It's not worth it! But you are worth every happiness!

Hi Heather👏🎉🎉🎉 way to go.... And I never step on that scale either....all it does is wreck my day ..... I go by how I feel but I'm off sugar now... That's one thing that puts on the pounds and makes me fatigued and irritable..... No sugar or cigarettes today💃🏿

Well done Heather for showing great strength and I certainly admire you for walking out enjoying the fresh air. It was hard but ya did it and I bet your daughter is sooo proud of you. The smell is really bad but we never noticed it when we were smoking😩

well done Heather...that is just sensational - Yes It is a great reality check being around smokers and smelling that stench.....PHEW...we don't stink like that anymore

As you say about the few extra pounds, if you can quit the cigs, you can lose them extra pounds later too
