Shimoni.......6 weeks!!!!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

Good going..... Ya I have to stay away from sugar and starch as well to keep my weight maintained. I have lost weight. I bet it's because my health has improved and my metabolism has sped up. I don't feel like I have more energy but from the wicked withdrawal I went through......... I am positive my health is waaaay better..... I can't believe how addicted to cigarettes I am

Okay. Have a good weekend ๐Ÿ˜Š

Great news! Thanks for checking in!

I gained some weight too -- probably really heavy brain cells because it is so smart to quit smoking!

Hi Angeline :) hmmm mars bars eh :o yep bin their done that :D :D but as you say, I think our bodies get used to our new way of life and as we go on, we dont need them so much :)

Although saying that, I do have to indulge in a mars bar or a pick-nick bar now and then, just to keep my spirits high :D :D plus, there a lot cheaper than a pack of 20 eh :) :)

You take care now Angeline and thank you for helping our newer members :) :)

Pete :)

Wow Shimoni, six weeks is fantastic.

Don't worry about the weight, that'll come off given time.

Congrats on six weeks!! That's a huge accomplishment! When you quit smoking it affects your sugar levels which can contribute to some of the withdrawel and craving symtoms. What help me is jolly ranchers and hard candies. Contains sugar but not like having cake or another treat. Great job! :)
