Hi all, well still not smoking but I've got no energy what so ever 😳. Craving getting easier to cope with and still feeling good about my quit. Hopefully tomorrow will have some energy as I got appointments that I have to keep☺. Early night for me and see what tomorrow brings. Hope everyone is having a good day and that you are all doing well xx
Day 3 😴: Hi all, well still not smoking but I... - Quit Support
Day 3 😴
Hi deb, sorry you have no energy it can go like that, it's just your body getting used to not having all the toxins. It will pass, hope your feeling bright eyes and bushey tailed tomorrow 😀😀
Thanks droppyJ. This happened last time I quit, I'm normally always on the go so this feels so weird to me, hope it doesn't last to long, but if it's how my body wants to deal with my quit then sitting round for a while isn't that bad a withdrawal to deal with 😁😁
Hiya deb, you're doing great coping with the cravings, hope you're feeling better tomorrow and hope I wake up feeling all bright eyed and bushy tailed as well 😂 which would definitely be a first for me. It will all be worth it and hope you have a good nights rest😀x
Glad to hear you're still feeling positive!! I'm sure you're energy will return in time, i used to find that somehow smoking motivated me to do things "right i'll just have a fag then i'll do this"...its all about changing habits and routines, but we'll all get there in the end x
Thanks everyone☺ going to have a nice hot chocolate the bed with a book for a bit. Glad everyone is doing good on their journeys. Take care xx
It gets better xxx goodnight xxx
hiya deb,
Hang in there, this will pass you are doing ever so well
keep up the great positive attitude you have towards your quit
Hey Deb! Congratulations for making 3 days! You'll do great, I'm sure. You're doing so well!
Thanks jejj, doing good, day 4 well underway still no energy but can cope. Got husky voice too so things are definitely change in my body. Hope you have a great day and keep strong we will do this ☺☺
Nicotine is a stimulant. It is reasonable to then expect that withdrawal symptoms may include feelings of lacking in energy. It has also been said that nicotine is also a depressant. 8 believe this may come from the calming effect of replenishing nicotine levels in an addicted person. (a non smoker, smoking for the first time would experience the stimulus effect but no calming effect.) You soon be back, jumping out of your skin. In the meantime, lots of positive self talk will energise you.....eg how good am I! I can do this standing on my head! I already feel healthier. Every slow deep breath you take will energise you more.
