Today is my second anniversary since I fell with my horse! I must say, I sure wish deep down, that I was much better than I am, but I have to be thankful that I was not worse than I was, at the time of my fall. I think everyone gets a bit down on an anniversary for this kind of thing! I'm sure I'll be ok. Thanks!

HI Nutkin,

yes, sometimes anniversaries can make you a little down, but as you know, you can only go forward and from what i am reading, you have come a long in leaps and bounds in your recovery. Just keep trying to look at how far you have come :) :) :)

It never ceases to amaze me how people with acquired brain injuries just steadily improve and often against all odds. I take my hat off to you xx keep up the great progress :)

Hi Nutkin

sorry for the delayed response, had to follow the group before I could reply. You have come really far and anniversaries can be sad. was talking to a friend yesterday whose had a trauma and he says he now has 2 birthdays ( birthday and anniversary birthday) for the old and new him. I kind of get it cos the new you has come so far and probably overcome more challenges and difficulties

xx
