Love the picture Pete, glad the mouse has got a helmet because I also have got my helmet on against Mr Nic ......, looks like us NON smokers are all getting on with life .... good.
Played cricket yesterday among some smokers and did as much preaching as I dared... think I got one of the smokers interested as he said he wanted to stop and had wanted to stop for sometime, I know that one because I always wanted to stop but couldn't.
Well it is now one month since that one day relapse and so happy I have got away from Mr Nic's power, life is so much better without the cigs. One or two cravings coming & going but I know what they are and can hit them for six !!
I may yet still have to see the Doctor as my chest is not quite right and maybe I have an infection or something but will see how I feel next few days.
Pete I have been gardening today and it is a good feeling to see everything looking a bit smarter but still have masses to do (never mind all in good time).
Hi Jonathan , your still doing brilliant. Bet the odd craving doesn't stay as long as what it used to does it. We told you it would get easier as you get stronger. enjoy your gardening. I think I would get your chest checked. at least you can take pleasure in saying you don't smoke,
Enjoy your evening, xxxxx
Hi Jonathan, I'd quite like to know where everyone keeps disappearing to every evening. I think they're all having barbecues every night and they forgot to invite us tinyurl.com/k5rweeo
Glad you're enjoying being smoke free. I seem to be reaping the benefits of not smoking, I've cycled 47 miles this weekend, most of it up hill. It's my poor old knees that are letting me down, my lungs and heart rate are keeping up well. And the runny nose. Don't know how many times I've had to stop to blow my nose, it runs like a tap when I'm out which can only be either pollen or general pollution in the muggy heat. Maybe that is what the problem is with your chest. My chest always used to feel really tight during hot weather when I smoked - it's been fine this year.
Hi Sin 47 miles by you must be fit now. I think your right I think the muggy heat doesn't help anyone. I knew I would suffer as I was warned extreme temperatures can make my breathing that bit harder. But I am getting used to coping with 1 lung now. Have a lovely evening. xxx
