Good morning Jilly and everyone.

I hope you manage to relax like you want to today Jilly - maybe stroll down to the tarn, find a nice bench and relax in the sun.

The weather here's rather cloudy this morning. The forecast is always changing so it might be sunny later or it might be raining. You'd think they could predict it these days - think I'd better go and check my seaweed.

Just back from pt session and off for another pounding sports massage later.

So it started drizzling when I set out for my massage. Think I'm in for another set - seem to be getting bruises on bruises at the moment. Did I mention that I fell off my bike a couple of days ago? I felt a right nana once I was on the deck. I was trying to go round an acute angle on the path in the woods. There was a stinging nettle right across the path to my left. I tried braking and getting off my bike before hitting it, didn't quite manage it and ended up in a pile of brambles on my right! Fortunately no-one was around to see me so I picked myself up asap. Result: scratches down right arm and leg, bruises on bum and leg from peddle. Ouch! Quite funny really. :/ The last time I fell off my bike was a couple of years ago - into a pile of stinging nettles - they never stopped sting the rest of that day.

But to keep going back to a massage to get bruised is just something else if you like bruises, fall off your bike more often eh

Hi andi, you reminded me of when I once cycled to work I was head cook at a secondary modern school . It was winter time, I went flying on some black ice. Big hole and ladders in my tights, blood on my knee, and all the kids who were walking to school laughing at me. What made it worse when I did get into the school I was told off for being stupid going out on my bike in the first place. All I wanted was sympathy,

These massages sound sore, your braver than me having those.

You must have hurt yourself falling off your bike, i hope your okay now, brambles are painful things, thank goodness you can laugh about it now.

Hi Sue, just hitting the chocolate.

It's what they call trigger point therapy and helps to loosen up the tight muscles. He reckoned it was about 30% looser this time but I'll try and be ultra good this time and do more stretching.

My sister's coming over next Wednesday for 8 days so it might be a bit more difficult then. I probably won't be on here much then either.

I'm not really like most people - I only have it 2 or 3 times a week these days and only a small amount. Oh dear, I just remembered, I had an ice cream this afternoon - oops! Went for a stroll on the cliffs with my friend this afternoon. The sun came out but the wind was a bit chilly.
