Constant pain in lower abdomen

Hi everyone, I have been having constant pain in my lower belly/abdomen since Thursday last week. It was so painful I went to A and E and was told it was likely a UTI but the antibiotics haven't stopped it. I was diagnosed with fibroids a few months ago but was told it's not that big and shouldn't cause too much pain... It's a constant pain like period cramps and ache, also bloated. I also have a shooting pain in my groin and vagina bone. Has anyone else experienced this? I'll be ringing the Dr this morning but was wondering if anyone had any advice? I have a feeling it's not going to be straight forward to resolve! Thank you all Bec xx

I'm sorry to hear you're in pain. based on your symptoms, I think you may very well have some pelvic floor disorder. There are many possibilities, but there is good site where you can read about them.pelvicpainhelp.com/

I'm afraid you will have to see many specialist before you find the reason for your pain. If there is a good pelvic floor psysiotherapist near you she might have more knowledge to help you.

The link I sent is to possibly the best specialist in the world so study it. You might need to provide advice to your doctor if he/she is not aAn exception to the rule that Doctors don't know much or maybe nothing about pelvic floor disorders.

I hope you find help soon. At least you need proper pain medication, over the counter meds don't help at all to pelvic pain.

Did you go through any invasive procedure lately or specially any laparoscopy? It can cause nerve issues in 10% of patients. If that's the case I can refer you to the best doctor.
