Ibs

Hi I was also diagnosed with ibs. I was having excessive gas, bloating, nausea, and burping. My gastrointerologist did a colonoscopy and endoscopy in one day. The only thing he found was is several polyps in my abdomen. Which he lanced but we’re benign. I was also diagnosed with acid reflux. I was taking omeperazole but discontinued. During the endoscopy he said I did not have damage to my esophagus . I don’t believe I have either reflux . I recently read about gluten intolerance and decided to try a gluten free diet. I felt better within 24 hours. The gas and bloating has sudsided tremendously. I feel so much better now.

I havent been diagnosed with IBS but have the symtoms you have apart from nausea.I have had lots if colonoscopies and only found diverticulitis and once anaemia. Had one endoscopy. My daughter has IBS but was diagnosed due to uncontrollable bowels at times.Reckon hers due to stress.

I have tried going gluten free but it's so expensive and my budget won't allow and doctor said unnecessary unless celiac etc.

I try to avoid bread that gives me bloating and pain thou

A good probiotic with prebiotic in it to feed might help. Good luck.

Same with me uncontrollable bowels . That’s why I think everything going on is a prolapse because it can also cause ibs symptoms. You don’t have to be diagnosed with celiac disease to be sensitive to gluten.

My bowel movements are opposite so struggle.I take fibogel at night to help which sometimes help.I eat gluten free corn crackers instead of bread.
