Should I contact a Doctor?

I accidently sustained a puncture wound from a pencil a few hours ago on my foot. It bled a little but stopped quickly. It seems fine now but I read online that sometimes a bit of the pencil can get stuck in the wound and become infected. It looks fine now and has scabbed over, should I go to the walk in centre just in case or will it be fine?

If it's free in your country to go to a centre, then I would do so, to ease your mind.

Otherwise, if it's not painful when you press against the wound- indicating no residual debris, then you are probably ok.

If you can walk ok then I wouldn't be too worried.

Just avoid writing with your foot in future.😝👍
