Have had a z plasty, and the pain in my wrist has increased.

I have had a z plasty, and just had the stitches removed, the nurse has taken all the removable stitches out and then said she would remove the disolvable stitches to, i asked her if the skin should be peeling up at the end of one of the flaps and she said it was dead skin, but it looked new skin to me, she then told me that the wound will be raised up from the skin, since i have had the z plasty the pain in my wrist has increased so much that it is unbearable

Can you talk to the consultant someone on their team for some reassurance? What pain control are you using?

i have been to see my own doctors they gave me some pain meds, that gave me a kidney infection, so been given meds for that, and new pain killers, the new pain killers made me constipated, so new antibiotics and no pain relief, so in real agony

Does your GP know you are constipated? I know it seems like piling more meds on top of meds, but there are things they can prescribe for constipation.

yes that is why i was told to stop the pain meds, i have been able to go and that is ok now, but this pain is ridiculos atm,

With medication to help with the constipation did they discuss the possibility of starting pain meds again?

z plasty is where they use z cuts on the skin to try and make a wound heal,
