This morning I’ve woken up with aching sensations down the left hand side of my head.
There’s a slight ache on my right side but not as much
The ache goes down around my left eye and left cheek.
It seems constant at the moment
Early last week I was diagnosed with chest wall pain and I’ve been anxious about my heart all week so I’m not sure if this is anxiety related or something else
Seek advice from your GP urgently. Yes, anxiety can cause all sorts of problems, but any sudden/unusual head pain that involves the eye should not be ignored. Neuralgia is a common causeof facial pain but that usually produces more of a stabbing pain rather than the aching you describe. Do act urgently on this, if only to rule out some possibly serious conditions that could put your sight at risk if not treated without delay. Hopefully, you will come back to us with good news.
Had similar a couple of weeks ago....saw GP, sent round to eye A&E.....examined and put on 60mg daily steroids for 1x month...thought it was neuralgia but was temporal arteris......now had urgent ultrasound, result showed the arteries inflammation had temporal biopsy and await results...appt with Rheumatologist and MRI scan next Wednesday.....get it checked...better than causing yourself more grief and anxiety if it stays....NO problem with A&E .....well away from COVID-19 and all relevant PPE / temperatures etc.....
