Severe left hip,pain!

Hello, my user name is Greater52 and I earlier this year chose to, have a total knee replacement at Union Memorial Hospital with a surgeon who apparently has a very good reputation for doing knee and hip replacements! My knee replacement has turned out absolutely finenand I am very pleased with the surgeon!

It's good to hear that your surgery went well. The trouble with these health sites is that we mostly hear what's gone wrong or surgery causing more pain so your news is a refreshing change.

Thank so very much! I must tell you, however, I must tell you that I was in quite a bit of pain for a while so I just wanted to let you know! That it wasn't all beautiful cherries! I also have to have a hip replacement too sometime later this year or early next year. Sometimes my hip pain is worse than the knee pain at times but with my relience on God Jehovah, He always see me through the difficult times!!

I'm sure your hip replacement Will go well giving you much relief from pain. You'll feel like a new person when it's all done.

I am not quite ready for a hip replacement yet. I just had a total knee replacement on Feb. 9th of this year, so I am very sure that when I see the surgeon next week that's exactly what he will say. Although, I am in a great deal of pain there I am supposed to get a gel cortisone injection in my hip on June 14th at 2:30 pm. So it that works and I pray that it does, then I might just not need a hip replacement right away!! If it does't work, then that's a whole other story for me!!
