Throat pains
Could be. Or not. Why not see your doctor.
Does it feel like a burning in your throat? If so then it is probably acid reflux try some indigestion tablets and if it eases then you will know, stress can cause this and you may need something stronger.
If test was normal, what did doc say ? Further examination from professional is indicated. It could be simply drainage from allergies but your doc can tell you that .
Did your GP test you for thyroid antibodies, or was it just the usual TSH and Free T4 if your lucky?
I ask because I've had a sore, achy throat, more on than off, for about 7 years now. I've been repeatedly fobbed off by my GP until I had my own Thyroid blood tests (Blue Horizon) and found I had high TPO and ThGB antibodies.
I told the GP last week that my throat, ears and sinuses were causing me pain and discomfort still. Guess what? Apparently it's caused by my high Thyroid antibodies!!
Worth having further bloods done.
GP told me to 'Let the Endo know about your throat when you have my appt next week'.
