Morning all, a very windy day today, so stay safe if you have to go out today. I am at the cardiologist at 9.40am this morning. First of we to take the Kangoo car to be Mot then it is off to the hospital which i hope i will have more news. I did speak to the consultant on Tuesday and he did say i would be referred to Walsgrave hospital in Coventry for my surgery and he is going to order a emergency ct scan.
Well my friends only five days to the big day, So here is another Christmas photo for you all to enjoy. xxxxx

Thank goodness they're being quick and speeding the process. Less time to spend worrying. I hope all goes well today. Here's wishing you and Bob luck and a good result. Happy Christmas
Morning everyone, well it didn't go as i expected. I have arterial stenosis, this means my valve is clogged up hence why i can't breathe and why i can't do anything. He showed me my MRI scan and he showed where it was clogged up. He has said i will be transferred to Walsgrave hospital in Coventry where they will do the surgery. He has no idea how long i will have to wait. I will have to see the surgeons first then i suppose i will have to have more tests. The consultant is ordering me a CT scan and though the other cardiologist i have seen has already sent a letter to the surgeon the one i saw yesterday is sending another one to speed up the process. I asked him how long i will have to wait and he doesn't know. After seeing the scan i realise i am a lot worse than i thought i was.
So Christmas is going to be spent sitting down resting and doing nothing which i find very difficult to do. Bob bless him would rather i sit here and do nothing and wait which he knows i will find difficult to do at the best of times. So this winter is going to be so hard to do.
So thank you all for taking the time to reply to my post.xxxxx
Hope everything goes well today Sylvi and they call you in quite soon for your treatment, I'm sure they'll take good care of you and you'll be whizzing around the village on your scooter before too long.
I am sorry to hear how difficult Christmas will be, and I am sure the wait will be hard. But you could pretend to be the Queen Mother and sit there expecting everyone to wait on you hand and foot. Maybe you could get a little crown to remind them!
More importantly, you have a Kangoo! I loved my Kangoo, and I still mourn the day the engine blew apart. They said they were amazed that it had lasted as long as it did, as there was a known fault and most Kangoos of this model had their engines replaced within the first few years. Mine was deemed to be too old to do anything with it than right it off, so I had to get a Berlingo. And I hate it. I still hate it! I really want my Kangoo back!
So you are lucky on two counts; one that your heart condition is fixable, and that you have a Kangoo!
Sorry to hear about your latest diagnosis. But it sounds as if the consultants you see are on the ball and are in touch with the right people. Hope you manage to have a good Christmas and have a new year with better health than this one. Thinking of you and sending love and 🙏 for a bright nee year. Joy xx
