Went to the drs this morning and he confirmed what the chemist said non Saturday it is thrush. He gave me some more Nystan to take four times a day and if i am not feeling any better on Wednesday i am to get in touch with him. I also said that i still didn't feel a lot better from the anaemia and he told me it is going to take time,I just want to feel well is that too much to ask.
Yesterday i spent the day out in the sun,but today i sat under the parasol all day and covered up as well. I didn't feel that clever either as i had a rough nights sleep last night. I have felt lethargic all day long, well more than usual. I got hubby to do some pruning and trimming for me as i just don't have it in me to my beloved garden. I sat and cut down into smaller pieces so it was easier to go into the green bin. It gets me down that i cannot do my own little patch of garden. He is now topping and tailing blackcurrants ready to make some jam which he is very good at bless him. I don't think i could get through all this without him,he keeps me strong and going.xxxxxx

Sorry to hear that you have yet more problems, hope the Nystan will get you sorted soon. It must be really getting you down by now.
I also feel very lucky to have the kind of husband that I have supporting me and looking after me. We are both very lucky girls.I dont know what I would do without mine either.
If I could do the same for my hubby I would, and I am sure you would do the same for yours.
I hope you get a good nights rest tonight and that you start to be on the mend tomorrow, although I think the temperature will be quite high overnight so not sure if a restful night will be on the cards.
And there will be plenty more days to do stuff in your patch of garden- just put your energy into getting better.
Hope you have a better nights sleep tonight. The heat over the next few days isn't the best for doing much other than resting up.
I hope you pick up very soon.
Your garden is beautiful. I so enjoy seeing your photos.
I picked black currants yesterday. All the red currants had been eaten by the birds. Will have to make a note to self to check them earlier next year. I may make some black currant jam when the weather cools. They freeze quite well.
I love all the soft fruits, especially for breakfast straight from the fridge. A dry mouth is my excuse! There is no taste like it when they are in season.
When you're at a low ebb all manner of things wangle their way in don't they Sylvia. I did think of saying it could take a while to get your anaemia sorted but thought it wouldn't be kind to say so, not what you needed to hear you sounded so low. There are options available if it goes on too long, but they have to go by the rule book, anyway believe me it works pretty immediately.
We've let the birds eat all our blackcurrants, well they'd started to pinch them & I'd rather see the birds return as we had none when we came back. We have a resident little mouse too, Annie takes great interest in it, you'd think she was the Pointer! It lives in the climbing hydrangea which covers the garage, on the roof somewhere.
You have a good night & let yourself be tended to as well, you've got a good un there but then you know that. x
Thank you darling and everyone else who commented on my post. The extreme heat causes me a lot of pain and i haven't slept very well at all. I was down here half the night and when i went back to bed i had weird dreams.xxxxxx
For all the times I feel alone in this nightmare...your posts always lift my spirits...especially in the early morning hrs. Please know how special you're and I hope you feel better soon. Gentle hugs Christy
Thrush can occur in the mouth and can look a lot like the saliva glands stopping working. I saw my GP with a constant dry mouth and white gum in my mouth and he said thrush but come back later in the week. The second visit he said its not thrush as the Nystatin would have worked by now but a complication of RA and your saliva glands are not working properly. He prescribed a spray called Glandasine it works great as do fruit sweets during the day though. It is worth asking for another visit if the 'thrush' does not clear up quickly and in Kent its sweltering !!!
The only thing I can add, if like me you need to drink a lot and yet your mouth is still dry the go back asap. It makes me croaky and my husband thinks I sound sexy ! like Marlene Ditrick or a smoker of many years although I don't! It is an inconvenience but not a real problem as the spray works well.
