Well to add insult to injury this morning i had to go to the out of hours surgery down at the hospital. Haven't felt well for days and have had a hacking cough which got me up at 3.30 am and i have had very little sleep since then. Anyway Hubby rang 111 and they sent me down hospital. The doctor that saw me checked me over and told me i have a chest infection. So he gave me a prescription for antibiotics for seven days three times a day. We are going on holiday on Saturday for two weeks to Cornwall. Thank goodness we are not flying anywhere abroad as i don't think i would be able to. So i am completely wiped out if i get on my feet. No MTX for me this week,i just wish i could get ahead of myself for once. Hugs to every one who needs one. xxxxx
PS; photo is of baby pigeons that have squatted on my fence at the moment...

Sorry to hear your not having a good time, hopefully the mess will do their magic early, then you can enjoy your trip to St Ives. Try and put a little bit aside each day towards the packing rather than all in one day. Hugs xxx
Hubby will do the packing,i have mainly sorted my stuff out ready to pack. I have been doing a bit each day after i had got dressed. Now hubby only has to pack it. It was quite amusing this morning when he was going through my clothes that i had laid out and he said why do you need this and that and i told him i just got everything i thought i would to take so you can whittle it down to a manageable level. To be honest i couldn't really be bothered as i just feel so out of it.xxxxx
Hugs, my friend, I hope you're feeling better soonest. The picture is lovely (aren't they funny when they still have fluffy undersides?) Be gentle with yourself, and rest up for the holidays. xxx
Thank you Bats,I am having my dinner shortly and then i will go back to bed as i feel exhausted.xxxxx
Sending you big, gentle hugs Sylvi. Chest infections can lay you very low. Hope you are feeling a bit better by Saturday, and that it doesn't spoil your holiday too much. xx
Oh Sylvi darling. Not a good time for a chest infection. Hope that you get some rest and recuperation before your holiday xxx
Poor you, Sylvi. It's a while until the weekend, so maybe if you rest lots, you might be feeling brighter in time for your holiday. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
hope you feel better soon and it doesn't spoil your holiday. x
Morning everyone, thank you all for you kind words. At least i slept fairly well, which is a good sign. I am still having trouble breathing this morning. I am still coughing like a good un. I have coughed up proof that it is indeed an infection and as it seems to be coming up i have caught it in time any longer and i probally wouldn't be too well when we go away Saturday. I won't be doing anything at all again today. I have more plants to go into the garden, but i am afraid hubby will have to do it for me. Thank you all again for your thoughts.xxxx
Sorry to hear you are having a tough time, rest up, and maybe the Cornish coast will work some healing magic for you! Wishing you as speedy a recovery as possible.
Poor you. I have a knack of getting chest infections just before going away, or even while I am away. The only advantage seems to be that I don't have to bother to kerp the injection refrigerated. I hope the antibiotics hit the spot. Enjoy Cornwall. I have to get there at least once a year.
Ahhh so sorry. I had a trip to GP for similar thing this morning, bacterial lung infection. Hope this won;t be a regular occurrence on enbrel. Oh well let's hope we both get better before the weekend as I am doing my niece's 21st birthday Saturday night and I have so much to do.
Poor darlin. Go on your holiday and maybe get some sunshine (if Poldark is anything to go by). Let the drugs take of your infection and try to get your batteries recharged. Loved your wee birdies. XXX
