Still going strong. My new obsession is weightlifting. I get a massive rush of feel good which I used to think I got from a cig but lasts way longer and feels 100 times better. I feel satisfied all day everyday. I go to bed thinking about how well I done at the gym and wake up thinking what I'll do at the gym today. I'm not craving just the odd thought about the feeling of having one. I wouldn't risk my gym by having one. I still get the odd tightness in the chest but they are no where near as bad as they once we're. I have myself something else to think about or obsess over. Last weekend I was able to sit with a group of smokers and the only thing it achieved is making me feel sick and reminded me why I wanted to rid myself of it. I have control of my life back and a whole new group of friends π win win
Day 89 update π: Still going strong. My new... - No Smoking Day

Great positive post melsamoo and delighted your journey is going well for you. Keep that guard up at all times and keep the updates coming
I will do. Thank you for your support not just for me but for everyone. there are alot of us that would not have got through the hard times without it. x

High Five melsamoo
I feel inspired by reading your post. I think I could get addicted to exercise. I always feel great when I do it and think to myself why don't I do this all the time? But I lack the motivation to stick to things. I start and then loose interest. It is really frustrating. I am my own worst enemy. Good on you melsamoo. Keep it up.
Thank you when I started at the gym 2 months ago I was just doing cardio which I could see was helping to clear my chest being able to breath again felt great. It was my hubby that suggested using some weights which I refused for a bit then I thought ot use them to shut him up but I was hooked. My reasons for going changed. I love the feeling I get from lifting heavy I'm currently lifting 80kg deadlift but aiming for 100. It really does beat sitting at home putting on weight which was something I worried about giving up but I've lost and building muscle. You do need the will power to start but then it's lush π
Nice one Melsamoo...Just gr8 to work on your body and regain a little bit of that muscle weight lost...I got myself a home gym as well and few kettel bells and give myself an hour every day (with 1 rest every fourth)...It feels so good especially on a weekend Kayak trip..!!
