So it's day 19 for me and I have woken up feeling moody, chesty and just not very happy! This is probably the 1st day I have felt this bad π I'm still taking Champix.
I suppose it's normal to feel like you're on a rollercoaster of emotions!! Plus I have the dentist later for 3 fillings so it's not going to be a good day ππ

Hey Kacoates34 - it is perfectly normal to have bad days like this especially at this stage of your quit as your body and mind is working very hard re-wiring, repairing and recovering, have a read of below link to the Icky Threes post as your approach 3 weeks - stay strong as you are doing so well and best of luck with the dentist, you will be grand, got 2 fillings done a couple of weeks ago, be sure to tell you are quit, as they love to hear it!!
Bad days come and go Kacoates34 when least expected but as each day smoke free passes, they become easier to overcome, stay strong and hope the dentist went ok
Thanks guys......yesterday was hard but thankfully I've woken up feeling better. I guess I never expected to feel so up and down! The dentist was painful but she was happy I've quit! I've had a red roof of mouth for months and it's slowly getting better - got a review next month to see how it is but she reckons it's due to smoking for so long π±π±π± makes me feel sick when I think what I've been doing to my body!
Hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday weekend ππ
Ah enjoy the bank holiday weekend Kacoates34 we had ours here in Ireland at the beginning of the month
I hear you about the damage smoking does to our teeth and gums, currently undergoing alot of dentistry work from damage caused partially by smoking that is going to cost me thousands of euro to fix (did leave it far too long though due to a phobia, but will be worth it all to get it sorted).
Many smokers and ex smokers do not realize the damage smoking does to our teeth, all in the past now for us
