At the end of day two, real cravings, worse than yesterday & I kept π€ "oh, time for a ciggie now", then thought to myself, you don't smoke anymore.!.
Managed to fight my way through & am feeling really positive.
Thank you everyone for your support

Well done dillyd . Day 2 is a tough one. It takes 3 days for the nicotine to leave your body completely (unless you are using NRT). It will get easier. Keep the positive attitude and know that you can and will do this.
I remember those moments very well dillyd . They were particularly hard to deal with at the time but (as mushen says) it will get easier....and those awful "forgetting that you don't smoke" moments recede until you just don't get them anymore.
There are times when I still think I would like to smoke but they're easy to deal with and I'm not caught by surprise these days.
Well done on reaching day two and coming through a hard day with a positive attitude.
Thanks for all the comments, they really o make difference knowing someone else has been through this & is still not smokingπ. I am feeling the difference already in little ways.

Good for you dillyd - day 3 now so nicotine will be out of your system by end of today - mental battle will begin then - it will be tough but as every day passes the stronger you will become in your quit, stay close to us, keep busy, lots of water and deep breathing
