Good morning!

Day 5 is great and even though it is really hard, Just hang in there. 1 hour at a time.

Have you watched any of the (short) videos on WhyQuit.com? If not, then do it! They cover everything for every day of the first two weeks of a quit including the part where you can think of nothing else. They really are worth a look.

You can do it. 😃

hi giffy

you are not alone.most of us had this.

you have to learn to smoke now you have to learn Not to smoke.

try keep your mind busy.don't overthink stoping.the more you think

"I'd be having a fag now" get out of the routine.habbit of smoking.

will make it harder.you got to keep your mind busy.

you can do this.

take care 😊

keep kicking 😎

Just to say well done day 5, but you can keep going, great advice already given.

It takes time, it's a drug.

Doing great, nearly a whole week, now that's a massive achievement .

giffy , prayers for strength being sent. It's not easy but so worth it in the end.

Welcome to our community giffy and congratulations on almost your huge first milestone of 1 week :) Well done!

You can do this, have faith in yourself - keep as busy as you can, drink lots of water / fruit juices and get a bit of exercise daily.

Try and read up as much as you can, especially the pinned posts across this page.

We look forward to reading your progress :)

Well done on day 5. 1st week is challenging but it does get easier. It is so worth it each day that goes by. I am suddenly at day 40 and sometimes wondering how I've managed it. Keep strong.

Morning giffy, as I suggested above, maybe have a read of the pinned posts (links below).

I was the same when I quit cold turkey over 12 months ago thinking I would feel great as soon as I put out my last cigarette but it takes time for our body and brain to re-wire after all the poison put into it from over 4,000 toxins chemicals from just one!

Knowledge is key so try and read up as much as you can even if it is just posts from members here. Stay close to us - there is always someone around :)
