Hi, and while I,m doing ok, mornings are a struggle, so any positive words for the morning, would be so helpful.

Hey Tracey, that was the first thing I changed in my routine was drinking coffee when I quit as it is a serious trigger with the caffeine in it. In the last 6 months I would say I have drank 2 cups.....the first time got a trigger to smoke and 2nd was a social coffee so didn't notice....maybe try to change to a herbal tea and put on some of your favourite music, works a treat for me in the mornings getting ready for work.
Now the positive note, YOU HAVE NOT SMOKED IN OVER 2 MONTHS, I know you are not counting but as I said already it deserves huge recognition, that is some achievement, be proud and embrace what you have achieved, you are doing so well and we are all so proud of you too!
I have found that the actual habit of having a cigarette in the morning is the thing that is hard to get past. This is boring I know but coffee and smoking go well together - have you tried switching to another drink (tea) for a while? Or can you make any changes to your morning routine? Doesn't have to be massive, just enough to make it a bit different. Don't give in. You have put in way too much effort to stop now.
Coffee is a trigger for me..... Try maybe tea! I know it's not the same but neither are you embrace the change. 😊
Hi Tracey something very nice I have read a long time ago and based my mornings on that idea:
“Each new day is a blank page in the diary of your life. The secret of success is in turning that diary into the best story you possibly can.” Douglas Pagels

How did you get on this morning Tracey3 ?
