Got through more triggers with a buddy @ work of mine; it's his birthday today, and we had 2 pints of lager with a few others at a pub, during lunch. He was an ex-smoker, 3.5 years, and that helped to manage the my usual alcohol triggers. (Haven't figured out what to do if I wash my car, meaning my car looks really crappy this few weeks , lots of car washing triggers)
Some triggers as I walked out to hit the boys room, saw a couple of guys in the smoking section with beers in their hands; was also sensitive to the pungent odour of cigs (or did it smelt good, I don't know :eek ..... but I went back to the pub, quit intact.
Now back @ my desk, pile of work to get through before 6pm, and then a couple more international conference dials with folks in UK and US till 9pm, that would be UK's 1pm, and then I'm done for the day.
Felt weak earlier, but stronger right after I come onto the forum and am back @ my desk. Hopefully, I clear this day alright.
Have a good start to your day !

Well done Edged. Your self-awareness of triggers is hopefully helping you to know where to be vigilant. It really is fantastic that you've got this far, one day at a time, and as C says, double figures imminently. How amazing is that! I'm rooting for you as are all the rest of us Quitters!
Thank you BP, Skiddaw and all who commented on this thread.
It is amazing ! Day 9! No ****... just amazing. I wouldn't believe this is possible just last Sunday. In any case, 1 minute, hour, day at a time. I'm not thinking about tomorrow/Day 10, just today.
Really enjoy that 'amazingness'! Because that is what it is. Let the appreciation of that give you extra strength for the day. It truly is an awesome miracle
