Beat our PB in the Parkrun 5k this morning under 27 mins. Never thought I'd be able to. day 18 of the quit and it's obviously having an effect!

Has anyone/does anyone else do Parkrun? It's held every Saturday morning in hundreds of parks across the country. It's free to join in and is made possible entirely by volunteers. Ability spans from competetive to people walking or pushing prams/walking dogs. For me, it has been a great motivation for the quit.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far (:

Nice going Kirstiedee, my nearest Parkrun is 20 miles away, I'll get there one weekend, sounds like a great set-up there. I reset my 5k PB yesterday strangely, just over 30 minutes, but I bet I'm older & fatter than you :D
