Oh Sophie such a pity. I've been there before too. I stopped with Champix for 4 months a few years ago and then stupidly started again. Don't beat yourself up too much though. Better luck this time. I'm using an e cig and gum this time and it seems to be working for me.
Good luck going cold turkey, it is the quickest way to go - but if it gets really hard, don't worry about using some form of NRT. You said it, you hate being a smoker so let's do anything other than smoke!!

You have had lots of "non smoking" periods whilst you managed to quit - stick at it - victory will taste even sweeter - you havent failed until you give up giving up - get angry at cigs not yourself!!
So sorry to hear that you've had a setback but it's great to see you back here! Try to learn from the experience and give yourself a pat on the back for getting yourself up and making the decision to try again.
I know you can do this, just utilise the forum and do whatever it takes to avoid those nasty cigs. Good luck! x
Hi Sophie unite a lot of us have been in the same place as you, myself included, but ith determination you can beat this. You obviously don't want to smoke or you wouldn't be on here, so that in itself is a good thing. I am 70 and have been a heavy smoker for most of my adult life, and I too managed a 6 week quit with Champix 3 years ago, but stupidly started again. Now I am over four months into my present quit ct and although it was tough in the beginning, I now feel absolutely great. So I know you can do it too. This forum is the best place to be, you can post anytime nod re pretty much guaranteed support. Come on you can do it
