Quite pleased this morning...was expecting a sleepless night last night, and to be too tired to manage with the kids today, but I actually slept! All night!
Must've worn myself out with all the cleaning.
Don't feel too bad this morning...have some cravings, but they're managable. Am chewing lots of gum and just trying to keep busy. Yesterday evening was the worst bit so far, hope this evening not as bad. I spent most of it sat in the bath crying...lol x

Felt a bit rotten just now, and had a really bad craving, so went and did 200 on the stepper with my weights...feel better now
If I can do that every time, I'll be much fitter when I'm done! lol
Am finding it hard as I'm a stay at home mum, and just moved to a new area so I don't know anyone and have no one to talk to in the day. My 1 yr old is here, but he's not the greatest conversationalist, bless him
Have a look and see if there are any mother and toddler groups in your area - it's so hard being at home all day, it would do you good to have a change of scenery (and one not associated with smoking!)
I've had quite bad PND and PNA which has made it hard for me to get out of the house. I'm now getting support from the children's centre, and a very nice lady is coming to take me to a group on Monday. I'm somewhat pathetic at the moment and struggle to leave the house alone
Didn't think I'd be able to manage a day without smoking so pretty chuffed to be on day 2 x
Had a meltdown and ended up screaming at my mum earlier, but we haven't been having the best relationship lately, and it was stuff that needed to be said tbh, so it ended well...cleared the air I guess
Still really want a cig, but am determined to get to the end of today...can't see further than that, just one day at a time x
Well done you & hope you are feeling better now. It's so hard to quit anyway but even harder when you have other things to cope with as well such as you have.
There will always be someone here to talk to, shout at or cry with until you get more settled in the community & indeed afterwards.
I've tried loads of times before, and quit for a while at various times in my life, but always ended up "just having one". I just feel more determined this time and can't explain why. Normally, I'd have thought "stuff it" and gone to the shop by now, but I've spent all afternoon watching the clock and waiting for OH to come home, cos once he's home I know my last opportunity to sneak to the shop is gone, and I know then I'll make it to bedtime
Don't feel too bad at mo, been making tea so that's keeping me occupied. After tea is worst time, always enjoyed my cig after tea Feel like I've lost a friend...how daft is that? x
It's not daft Sal but you will get used to it. It doesn't take long to retrain yourself into not smoking at those 'special' times. I have even managed to get up in the mornings without being extremely p'd off that I can't have a fag as it was the first thing I did everyday. For it not to be bothering me is a minor miracle in itself lol.
I to have tried, tried, tried & always succumbed to the just one which turns into a fully fledged smoking career, you are not alone there!!
I would say probably from day 3. Can't really say I have had many at all. Makes me more determined to make this quit my final one. The enxt time I may not be so lucky
Hope starts getting easier soon, anxiety levels v high at mo, feel terrible. Muscles all tense and sore
Hang in there it does get easier believe me i felt terrible on day,s 2 and 3 DO NOT GIVE IN TO NICOTINE 72 hours and the nicotine will be gone and things will ease up.
