wow ive done it. 8 days without a fag:D. ive been using the 24hr patches but mine must of come off during the nite cause i woke up in such a mood. i put another one on as soon as i realised but it seemed to take ages for my mood to shift.:mad:
so i take it the nicotine doesnt leave your system after 72 hrs if your using nrt?
but still 8 days is great going for me so im still very please with myself

You should be pleased with yourself!! the patches are just easing the withdrawal but you are still breaking all the routines!! And that is the hardest part!!
Not sure I think it does take 3 days for nicotene to leave the body, you can cross that bridge when you come off the patches later on, but right now your doing fab!! Well done!
CONGRATULATIONS 8 days may not seem a massive amount in the scheme of things but in quitting smoking it’s a marathon, you are now into week 2 and before you know it you will have done the first major obstacle ONE WHOLE MONTH the road to smoke free is not easy but it is something you can accomplish and we are all here to help you, this forum is the bees knees for help and support, keep strong and your quit will be long.
