Hey stacey, welcome to the forum. You should certainly stick around and keep reading and posting, particularly when you're feeling like you were this morning.
Can you think of any reason why you've failed in the past? Ask anyone on here and they will tell you that EDUCATION is key. Reading up on why you are addicted, what the chemicals in cigs do to you, the endless list of good reasons to quit, is great not only for learning about the issues, but also encouraging you in those dark moments you may go through.
Try having a read of these sites:
woofmang.com/tales/index.shtml < - -inspirational tales from ex-smokers
ffsonline.org/ < - - An free online program to aid you with your quit, whether you have started or not
There are other links in people's signatures, can't remember them off the top of my head...
You've made a bold decision, but definitely the best you'll ever make! If not only for yourself, but for your children as well. I wish you the best of luck, and let us know how you get on!

Hello,
I'm curious, are you smoke free after 10 years?
Hey BillPNH - just to let you know these old posts where the name of the members appear as 'nsd_user663_3849' means that the member(s) is/are no longer a member of our community and the HealthUnlocked site therefore, the post is obsolete....
