Hi Lin
Well done to both you and your mum. know you say that i had that myself once or twice didnt think it was because I quit but you never know. Also the sleep issue with me is mad I can be not to bad one week and really bad another, never great. But I was never a very good sleeper when I smoked. Maybe if things carry on she could have a chat with her Doctor just to be on the safe side. Congrats again.xxxxx
Could be a side effect. I suffered from panic attacks for years and I must admit the quit has given me a dose of them from time to time
The not sleeping bit is,for some I believe, quite normal when you've quit.
As always though anything you're not happy with, check with your G.P.
To be one the safe side, I would check with the doc since high blood pressure can also give the same symptoms...... I myself had plenty of panic attacks but now after 3 weeks and something they are very rare and brief..... I sleep lousy though.... max 6 hours a night when I used to sleep like an infant (easy 9-10 hours) waking up at 2 something am is now the norm..... Good luck AND GREAT JOB on making it to 7 weeks....
Hi Lin Beauty
7 weeks wonderful you and your Mum are doing really well the not sleeping seems to be almost universal to us quitters I was really bad to start with but it has settled down now although I still get the odd night here and there when I just don't sleep but I never had panic attacks as such just felt a bit wobbly now and again If this keeps up it might be as well for Mum to check with GP to be on the safe side but is most likely due to quit
Love
