Lack of new quitters

There does not seem to have been many new quitters join the forum of late, hope that this just temporary and that smokers have not given up giving up!

Okay....I'll be the one that answers 'cos this has been sat for too long at the top and then hopefully someone will swiflty post a new thread so that this gets buried down the list. You know you want to - not you FV :mad:

I think if you wish to start a new thread possibly it should be a bit more upbeat. That'll bring the crowds in FV.

Alas Cavaliar but to me that does not seem very many, hardly warrents a forum does it now - but in your world - who knows maybe friends are somewhat limited, now as I said before if you or anyone else does not like what I say put me on ignore because I.m damned if I going to play you childish games, but I shall be replying to posts

You know the thing is people aren't exactly beating a path to the door. Do you imagine that people are standing there waiting to give up in their millions? You get what's there...possibly if the welcome was a bit more...welcoming than saying we don't have many quitters of late. That doesn't do much for selling the place - and neither does the rest of this discussion.

You know the thing is people aren't exactly beating a path to the door. Do you imagine that people are standing there waiting to give up in their millions? Yes you are right I have replied, why should I not?

For once, just once I have to agree with you - I was wrong replying to you on this thread because YES you are right this thread needs burying for the reason you state - it is not very welcoming. but in defence, your reply to the original thread was not very polite. So yes lets leave this alone and hope that someone - perhaps a new quitter - posts a thread on day one.

Hey !! were am I ?, what happened to the place I enjoyed logging onto. I wouldn't be here coming up to my 4th month if it weren't for this site.

There should have a forum named "Playground", go in there to have your disagreements if that's the word you use to describe this behaviour. Don't spoil things

I can only suggest the reason for fewer members is because this isn't a quit trigger time of year.

New years you will get lots of quitters, then lent etc...

Perhaps the start of the 'proper summer' will see us joined by more people eager to quit the weed. Lets face it, any smoker worth their salt will be gloating and enjoying being booted outside for a change. Let them have their moment of glory!

However the people who are lurking here know that if they are genuine they will get the support they deserve.

If you are lurking and thinking about it I suggest you just do it, quit the fags and see what happens. Worst that could happen is you start smoking again (but you won't)
