i have a couple of reasons to stop, ive tried a few times but ive got to do it this time!
i had a hysterectomy and a kidney removed in 2006 because of cancer, i have scans every 6 months incase it comes back, up to now im ok.
after the op i came home and lit a fag i so wish i hadnt.
even having cancer didnt stop me, how bad is that?!!
then in oct, my mother died, on that day she told me i need to stop smoking,
i couldnt find the strengh then but i have it now, and im going to stop for my health and most of all my mam, who i miss so much.
ive tried patches and other nrt, im now on champix.
thats my reasons, i will need loads of support, and a warning to you all, im a stroppy cow who gets big mood swings when ive tried to quit before, so ill say a big sorry now !! jude xxxx

Jude, don't worry about having a go at us.. i think I can say we all know how tough this is. We can take it so hammer away!
Your reasons make so much sense - do this for your mum but do it for yourself too; it's such a great decision and if someone had told me a year ago that I'd be saying this, i'd have laughed in their face..
Its all been said by the others Jude but welcome to the mad house anyway. It can be bedlam in here, but thats what we need a distraction. He he! i think ive give nic the boot and got addicted to this forum insted lol lol Good Luck mate xxx
