Day Four Without Ciggies

:)well Day Four Has Now Gone And Still Have No Desire To Smoke,however This Morning When I Was Getting Myself Ready I Reached Out For A Ciggie,this Is What I Would Do Every Single Morning,being Around People That Smoke Isnt Really Affecting Me At All The Smell Is Making Me Feel Sick! I Hope That Is A Good Sign:)the Only Problem I Have At The Moment Is Not Being Able To Sleep This Is The Only Problem With The Champix Hopefully This Will Pass Or I'll Die From Exhaustion!!! My Children Keep Saying How Proud They Are Of Me Giving Up As They Have Been On At Me For Years To Quit,well Time To Go Now Ebays Waiting

hi again thanks for your encouraging words,sleeping a bit better,to be honest losing a few hours sleep each night is better than being on the ciggies so will put up with it i keep telling myself ive got better things to do with my money especially with the january sales approaching yipeeee!!!!!!!!!

Day 19!!!

Hello everyone!

I have only just found this website and I think the support is really positive!

I have smoked an average of 30 a day for the last 40+ years and believe me not smoking is hard! Well - actually it is easier than I thought it was going to be and I can't actually believe that I have done it! I agree with the idea that I haven't "given anything up" rather I have stopped doing something that was bad for me!

I was going through a really bad time last Saturday afternoon so I rang the NHS Helpline. Unbelievably I was told that no-one could help me unless I was registered!!! At that point I was in no fit to state to register anything!

Anyway I shall be interested to watch everyone's progress. By the way I am "cold turkeying" because I don't want to have to wean myself off anything else!!

Hi sleeping getting a bit better now just dont want to get up in the mornings too cold come on summer.

Day 6 today no cravings but do sometimes think oh i'll have a ciggie but then my brain cell tells me i havent got any!!!!
