Really struggling with the side of effects from the Sertraline my vision has been affected and the right side of my head is constantly in pain my ocd seems to be running wild practically 24/7 feel lost any help would be appreciated thanks 🙏 🥲

Hi,Medication side effects are not the same for everyone.

The prescriber has made their decision based on your physical and mental health history.

The best advice I can give is to get back to the person who prescribed the drug ASAP. Your vision is too important to delay a visit. If the waiting time for an appointment is more than 24 hours, go to the ED of your closest hospital.

I did not get on with sertraline so went back to the doctor and am on mertazipine now. The sertraline made me a lot worse - anxious and couldn't keep still.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing side effects, increased anxiety can kick in before you find you plateau. When did you start on sertraline? As blackcat64013 says, definitely get your vision checked.

hi I started about 6/7 months back on Sertraline I’ve never felt great from the beginning just preserved with them just felt recently that it’s been affecting my Vision !
