Hi I was on Trazodone for about 6 years for depression. It helped but had no effect on my fibro pain. I really liked that it supressed my appetite so I lost weight on it.I slept ok on it but like everything it has its side effects so I wanted off it before anything bad started.

Withdrawral wise you have to go slow. I've always tended to wean off antidepressants by cutting corners off the tablets and holding until Ive felt normal again before chopping anymore off. However, wish Id done that to get off Trazodone because the pain clinc took me off it by bridging me on to Duloxetine. I felt ill for 2 weeks but now my mood and pain is much better controlled BUT if Id known how difficult it is to get off Duloxetine ie Cymbalta Id have ran a mile from it. NEVER TAKE DULOXETINE!!! If offered it .
