How to report inappropriate activity on the forum

Hi Folks,

Some concerns have been raised about the possible inappropriate activity of some members which may contravene Health Unlocked's Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. If you are concerned at all then please report this to the HU Admin Team who can investigate the matter further. To do this click on the 'More' tab under a post and then click 'Report'. This will give you a few options to indicate the nature of your concerns and a text box to fill in to explain in more detail.

Very good post thank you but I’ve not seen any bad posts yet but if I do I know what to do 😉

That's exactly what I did do (was on ADAA page), so I am relieved that I did the right thing just a little annoyed that after 48 hours I have not had any acknowledgement from anyone (although the post has been deleted).

You don't usually hear back if you report inappropriate posts/replies but you know your report has been seen when the content is deleted.

The main problem I have with it is that sometimes sites (not mentioning any site in particular) have no cover for long periods of time and especially at weekends. I am very aware that all the admins are volunteers and not paid, and I wouldn't want their job for all the tea in China! In the main you all do a fantastic job in keeping our sites a safer place, so thank you for that. x

There are currently 2 posts up on this site from the person who has been removed twice by HU under his previous 2 alias's. Can you look at these please? Thank you. x

Oh and he has just put a third post up 7 minutes ago! This person used to be Qaism_Raza, then Raza_Qaism and both of these alias's have been removed by HU. He is now posting as Wanttochange. x

I've seen these latest post and was wondering how he can keep getting in. It's a little scary

Coz he keeps on rejoining under different alias's, that's why. The only way to stop someone returning is to trace the IP address, but that takes time I have heard and isn't easy. Some people have a pool of them too and they are virtually impossible to trace. x

Exactly so he is dead easy to spot each time! x
