Hi, just joined this site as have not been feeling my usual self. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 14 years ago. Which I managed with medication use to work graduated from uni. However the last 5 months I have been off medication and had a blip but got through it. Wel so I thought. Or the past two weeks I have been struggling to go out and do do my usual daily tasks. I have been spending most my days withdrawn and finding it hard to cope. Today was the worst. I poured my protein powder all over me, from my hair to my clothes. No reasonable explanation for this. My husband been great did school run etc. He got my doctor to call me this morning before the incident happened he said to call cpn. My husband called them but They haven’t called back yet. I have some medication so I’m gonna take this tonight. I think. Don’t want to be a burden to my family so haven’t told my mum that I’m not feeling well. Although she might can help with the kids. My husbands been missing work and I’m scared we going to get into financial problems. I manage alll the bills usually but I forget to pay things sometimes so I have some debts which are stressing me out. Especially as I had a bailiff knock my door about a parking fine I didn’t pay. I just feel unable to cope right now it’s simply too much.

Just too much
It is important you are seen by your GP and have a medication review. You also need to consider other options Like having words with your CPN if you are unable to settle your problem. You could try NHS INFORMATION on Tel 111 and explain the problems you are having and the disruption you are suffering at home, especially if your husband has been staying back and looking after you and household etc.
It is important you remain stable, if you can even just call your GP over the phone and see if a further course of medication can be prescribed to get you through the initial stages of waiting for an appointment.

Thank you for replying Bob I think you are right. I will push for a medication Review and have a word with my CPN. Thank you so much for your advice.
