Hi, since I started on Zoloft one year ago, I’ve gained 20 pounds which I find extremely difficult to lose again. I was wondering if there’s some diet pill that I could try to prevent me from gaining more weight. I’ve read that phentermine is dangerous with Zoloft, does anybody knows about this? Thank u!

HI,

I think you should have a chat with your local pharmacist about this, as they are the experts in how drugs work, interact etc. I would excercise caution. Remember too, that we are no substitute for professional medical advice or information in this community.

There is a site on HealthUnlocked that deals with losing weight. That may help you

We all have problems with AD Medications, I just cannot lose weight whatever I do

Your GP can give medications or introduce you to a Dietician. Some hospitals run courses on how to lose weight. There are also medications that can help.

Various forms exercises can also help, Swimming is a good option. Your GP can also arrange a Personal Trainer that will assist your weight loss by other forms of exercise
