I Quit my new job after 3 days...

So i left my previous part time job to go to a new fulltime job, however the new fulltime job was not for me.

So after 3 days i quit the job, so at the moment i am currently jobless, now my logical side says that i should be worried because i have bills to pay.

However i dont feel worried, in fact i feel pretty relaxed, i mean shouldnt i be worried or stressed i dont have a job to pay the bills.

Hi CJ, you have to do what's right for you. Maybe the F/T position was a step too far, and you need to build up to it, like exercise. Going back to working P/T maybe better. I'm glad you are not stressing about this. Maybe it would be worth having a chat with a Disability Advisor at the local Job Centre Plus, as they may help with ideas for supporting into a job that can make reasonable adjustments. You could try temping e.g. temping agency or as it's pre-Christmas, many shops want seasonal temporary staff. Maybe it's time to get advice about what your skills, interests, experiences are and rethink what you really want to do with your life. Maybe self-employment could be the answer. Lots to consider. What does anyone else here think?

Take care.

Yeah i am hoping now that i have some free time i can get back to what i was doing when i felt "good" and that was working out 4 times a week counting calories and just challenging my self physically to better my self really.

I felt good during that time and on top of the world,so now with this free time i will hopefully go back into that mode and then just take it as it comes in regards to a job but yeah i have to agree i think sticking with part time is what will be best for now.

Hi CJ, it’s been a long time!

It looks like you are focusing on getting fit. How is the cutting nowadays? You sound like you are in a better place.

Hey Lori how are you? And yes it has been a while hope all is good with you.

Yeah i am hoping to start training after xmas seeing as im not having to live my life around any work at the moment.

I am still cutting but not as much as i was before, my moods have to be really down before i pick a blade up, also i put thr blades away so they are not in my sight so as to not increase the temptation.

Things are not brilliant, but they have been for a long time. I’m working my way up to posting I think.

I’m glad to hear it’s reduced and that you are putting them away. I ended up having to have therapy on knives myself. My CBT therapist spent two hours with me in my kitchen. Not hurt myself once since.

Yeah, best to get Xmas over. Treat yourself, and then let the calorie counting begin.
