Well with Christmas approaching I have so many things to do I just feel like I not gonna get it done. From me not being able to get dresses that I actually like it's stressing me out to the max and I don't know what to do. I have so much on my plate from Sunday school things to shopping to shoes I'm literally going nuts.

Stressed out
Hi Charmerbluegirl,
I am with you - Christmas stress is nothing to look forward to. I have found this little article to rationalize the how and why it happens.

In the end, I believe it comes down to planning . I have a A3 6 week planner stuck on the fridge - everything goes in from the Christmas events to shopping and time for myself.
This is the second year I am using it. Was a godsend last year, especially when the menu has to be changed to cope with the extremely hot weather in southern Australia - we had a week of 40 degrees Celsius.
I start Christmas gift buying in June, if not before. In fact, that way I'm spreading the cost. I buy dresses on ebay - you can sit on the sofa & roll through hundreds of dresses. I even buy shoes on ebay - i choose real leather so there's some stretch in them if they are a bit on the tight side. I stopped going to shops about ten years ago & find ebay (& sometimes Amazon for non clothes) so much easier. In fact, buying gifts online makes life so much easier - I hardly ever go into shops nowadays. If you are cooking on Christmas day, you can make most of it and freeze it (stuffing, bread sauce, pigs in blankets etc) or this year buy everything ready prepared (stuffing, parsnips, roast potatoes etc). I remember standing in a long queue in a shop many years ago about a week away from Christmas Day; one lady said "Jesus would not want us to go through this". Everyone in that queue laughed and agreed.
Thanks so much for the response it was helpful. 😊
