is it normal to get angry over things that you shouldn’t even be angry over?

Who said you shouldn't be angry? You have a right to be angry at what you want or need to be. Do you feel able to tell us any more please? It's hard to know what to say to you otherwise. x

I used to be like that, particularly before I got through the menopause. I'm presuming you are a young woman. Hormonal changes through the month can cause these emotions.

Contraceptive implant? I'm sorry to tell you that it will make your moods worse. I'm 66 now and have had a lot of bad health in my life (very low thyroid gland). I researched female hormones - progesterone and oestrogen; and also a private doctor explained it all to me. When the Pill was 'invented', the scientists had to change the make up of the female hormones in the pill so they could get it patented. 'God's Own ingredients' can't be patented, so they kept the oestrogen in its natural state but changed the progesterone by one molecule, so it could be patented. Therefore any progesterone in the Pill or HRT is not recognised by a woman's body. In fact progesterone is then called progestin as it's not natural progesterone. So - because the oestrogen is natural it dominates the body and pushes any natural progesterone out. Progesterone is the 'soft feminine hormone' - it increases massively during pregnancy. Oestrogen is the not so feminine hormone. Women's bodies become 'oestrogen dominant' which has many bad symptoms. We women have been lied to all these decades. I know contraception is an important fact of life and the pill or an implant is an extremely easy option. I took the decision in my mid 20s to use a diaphram/cap; and for a while used an IUS/IUD (but got pregnant with it!)

thank you for explaining this to me, i’m only 16 & i had it put in about 2/3 weeks ago and since then i get really angry & seem to over react over the littlest of things which isn’t good. i’ve been with my boyfriend 3 months & it’s starting to effect our relationship because we always argue about little things that i get ratty over

If I was you, I would have the implant taken out as soon as possible. You need to use a form of contraception that doesn't affect your body's hormone balance. For many decades, people had to use condoms, then the vaginal cap. They are a bit of a pain, but don't mess with your body's hormones. You are young - even if you used the implant for ten years your hormones would be altered.
