Exercises are key in Tendinopathy Management

I used to be an avid runner. I would run for miles every day, and I loved the feeling of accomplishment I got from it. But one day, I started to experience pain in my Achilles tendon. At first, it was just a dull ache, but it gradually got worse over time. I tried to ignore it and keep running, but the pain eventually became so severe that I had to stop. I was devastated. I didn't know what I had done wrong, and I was afraid that I would never be able to run again. I went to see a doctor, and he diagnosed me with tendinopathy. He told me that it was a common condition, but that it could be difficult to treat. He recommended that I start doing exercises to strengthen my Achilles tendon. I was skeptical at first. I didn't think that exercises would help, but I was willing to try anything. I started doing the exercises every day, and I gradually started to see an improvement. The pain began to subside, and I was able to start running again. I'm so grateful that I found out about these exercises. They have helped me to manage my tendinopathy and get back to doing the things I love. If you're suffering from tendinopathy, I encourage you to give these exercises a try. They may be the key to getting you back to your active lifestyle.

**Here are some tips for doing exercises for tendinopathy:

* Start slowly and gradually increase the intensity and duration of your exercises over time.

* Listen to your body and stop if you experience any pain.

* Be patient and consistent with your exercises. It may take time to see results.

* If you're not sure how to do an exercise, ask your doctor or physical therapist for guidance.

I switched from running to bicycle riding in my late 30s. Mountain biking up steep hills can achieve the same feeling for me, and get my heart rate way up there too. I don’t really miss running, and I was a runner for 20 years.
